The First Law of Motion states, "A body at rest will remain at rest, and a body in motion will remain in motion unless it is acted upon by an external force." This is called Inertia, and simply means that things cannot start, stop, or change direction all by themselves.  Sometimes, our bodies need a little push, or rekindling to overcome inertia, to get started, or regain the motivation towards reaching new heights.  This is especially true after injury, surgery or illness. A skilled and seasoned Physical Therapist can become that spark you need to achieve new goals.
